But I find myself mostly in sports mode... :|
The whole VW experience was good except that one rear light was scratched at the dealership and the replacement has still not arrived..Scirocco R '15 DSG

Anything you do to the car can potentially void the warranty... it is a risk that you take I guess.....
The warranty thing would ONLY be an issue of you had a major engine failure of some kind... I think you would have to be pretty unlucky for that to happen... as I said... I have not had a single issue with mine and I know of plenty of others that are more highly tuned with plenty of KM on them and there are no issues at all...
My tune is an APR Stage 1 and there have literally been thousands of these done.
The tune makes the car what it should have been from the factory... go on... you know you want to do it....

Is the bumper in the new face lifted model the same shape as the older one? I know there are difference, but I'm just wondering if an aftermarket lip that's designed for the old bumper would fit on the new one.

I've gone a year and two months without a car (I work close to the city, and have gullible friends) and my previous car was a 2004 Camry.. today I'll be taking delivery of a MY15 Scirocco R in Rising Blue, DSG, leather seats, ex demo (65kms in total). To say I'm a little excited would be an understatement - I've never been a *massive* fan of Golfs, but I fell in love the second I saw the news article in 2010 stating the Scirocco was coming here.
