  • Paint protection package

Did anyone get the aftermarket paint protection/tinting packages offered by VW ? If so how much did you guys get it for and in general, is it worth getting ?

    Not worth it at all.
Best bet it to get a PPF layer applied to the car as it will prevent chips etc.
Alternatively take it to a proper detailing clinic and you will have a lot better protection as the person's livelihood depends on it rahter htan some 1st year apprentice with a dirty rag at the dealership.

The dealer paint protection service is a waste of time and money and has certain conditions on it's protection anyway.

Plus 1 with what team_v said....
If you want Paint Protection look at Reflect Effect and the Opti Coat system... plenty of people in this forum and other VW forums are extremely happy with their service....
