Got the car lowered yesterday. Thanks to Tim from DubAddiction for doing the work
I tried to get identical shots to see the difference in lowering with the H&R Lowering springs
Before:
After:
And a measurement comparison.
The car should drop a few more mm over the next couple hundred km's. In regards to ride quality, it definitely is more firm but not 'sports' mode firm where it jars your brain when going over bumps. Ive been running it in sports mode and ive found there is minimal movement when cornering and going through dips in the road. All in all im happy with it! I think will hold off on the KW DDC's for now as going any lower is not practical for a daily driver and it wont get into our driveway otherwise!Scirocco R - Candy White, Sat Nav,tinted windows, H&R Springs, 19x9 ETA BETA Tettsut X Black rims.
Audi S3 Sedan - Riviera Blue Exclusive paint, PP2, H&R Super Sport springs

Looks great Bain, but wants the deal when it comes to warranty? Does it void it? I really want to lower my Rocco slightly when it arrives, but main wouldnt risk voiding the warranty.2012 Scirocco R - Candy White, DSG, Panoramic Roof, RNS510 Sat Nav, Dynaudio upgrade, tints & 19inch Black Talladega Wheels.

A safe bet is to drive the car around for a couple of thousand k's if you are worried about possible warranty issues. Its not fail safe but at least anything to do with suspension should come up before then.Scirocco R - Candy White, Sat Nav,tinted windows, H&R Springs, 19x9 ETA BETA Tettsut X Black rims.

Marti just picked up her new Scirroco R this afternoon to replace her Polo, to say she is stoked is an understatement. We started looking at new cars for her three weeks ago and she quickly decided on the Rocco. Lucky our mate who owns a leasing company was able to find one just arrived in the country in the spec she wanted and she drove it off the lot this afternoon.
I've ordered her a set of VW Racing lowering springs for it from Rennenhaus (Thanks Ian) and we'll look into a tune maybe in a month or two, its on a two year lease so not sure if I want to flash it for her or not.
A couple of pics of her picking the car up and huge thanks to Graeme86 for going with her and checking everything over on the car.
Cheers Al
