    Release date earlier than expected!

    Hi All,

    I was inquiring about getting a firm date for delivery as I was going to sell my second car online (sold my XR4 in only 2 days! Put it up tuesday night). But it looks like i'll be trading it in.

    The response below is from my sales lady!


    Dear Bain

    I have some great news for you
    Due to popular demand from customers Volkswagen has brought forward the official release date for the Scirocco which means that your car will arrive into our dealership in the next couple of days
    So we can estimate a delivery for you next week it could be early or late depending on what date the Scirocco arrives
    This means that it not too long before you have your Scirocco, if you wish to bring the trade in to me so I can have it assessed that would be great
    Scirocco R - Candy White, Sat Nav,tinted windows, H&R Springs, 19x9 ETA BETA Tettsut X Black rims.

    Audi S3 Sedan - Riviera Blue Exclusive paint, PP2, H&R Super Sport springs

        yeah i could in theory take delivery of it tommorow of i was in syd to pick it up from waitara! They have finished their pre-delivery.

        Very exciting!

                Just got a call, will be picking mine up on Monday 8.45 in the morning! Woooooot!

                  Thats incredible. My dealer has my car in stock and advises me that delivery will be on the 4/2 (perhaps later!) as they are waiting on VWA to give the ok to release the car.

                          Is the wait now just getting the OK to launch from VWA?
                          Scirocco: Indium Grey, DSG, pana roof, Sat/Nav, Dynaudio, VWR springs and APR stage 1. Now sold

                            VWA have already given then go ahead. The cars started arriving yesterday at the dealerships. BW requires 3 business days to have the car ready to go (according to my sales chick). Id say its similar for other dealerships.
