Dealer here isn't shifting one bit on anything, off to see the only other dealer in the state later to see what he can come up with otherwise it may be a hold out and wait or see about interstateComment

Just went to pick up the car today... And thank you VW nice chip and a scratch on the rear bumper bar.. Another week wait now to get that fixed... Not happy what I'm going to do today plans all down the drain!

There do seem to be a few cars on forecourts here in Melbourne. Obviously dependent on colour and spec. Usually they will touch up the car. With any new mass manufactured car there can be issues with paint run, paint spatter etc. Pre-delivery is usually when all that get fixed.
Get them to respray the rear bumper the car is brand new so you wont have any issues with colour matching.

Also make sure its listed on the precheck and that it needs to be fixed before sign off. You have to sign off in the vehicle that its in mint condition.
