Thanks for the advice! What Lens do you use!? I have a couple, the stock standard 50-200 and a L series 100-400 with a 7D body. Is there a lens you would suggest?
The lens i used is the 17-40mm f/4.0 L lens because i like to do landscape photography but can also be useful in some situations. Since the 7D is a crop sensor camera with a crop factor of 1.6, i would not recommend using the 50-200mm (this lens is now essentially a 75-300mm due to the crop factor). A 24-105mm f/4.0 would be a good overall lens to use or you may want to invest in the 18-55mm f/2.8 which is not an L lens but i would classify it as an L lens since the quality is absolutely sublime. I would highly suggest you to get the 18-55mm, however; the downside is that it is quite heavy and is quite pricey for a non-L lens. Don't be put off by the price though because you are essentially getting a 24-70mm f/2.8 L in disguise
Haha thanks Matt
The camera I use is the Canon 5D MkIII. The blur you see can be done with any DSRL camera really, but the general setting I use for these rolling shots is setting the sutter speed to something moderately "slow" ie. 1/30th and then i would let the camera decide which aperture to use depending on the lighting (this setting is generally known as shutter priority or "TV" on the dial). Also change your focus setting to AI servo. This allows the camera to focus on a moving target. Then all you have to do is point>focus>shoot. Hope that helps Here's an example below

Great shots and tips mate! You have a great taste in camera too. The Ralliart reminds me of my previous car, miss that blue beast. So I thought would go white on my Rocco (last minute order change from blue that pissed off my dealer )
Re mods, think the stage 2+ is already very fast in terms of power for this FWD car anyway on public roads, wise direction to do some chassis and supporting mods to maximise that power to the ground. Some aerodynamic mods will complete the look of the car very nicely.
b0kehh Amazing photos! may I ask what do you use to get such a great shot of your Rocco moving and the settings.
Haha thanks Matt

No worries mate. Quite some people only drive the Rocco occasionally, as it is in my opinion one of prestige cars in VAG families so yeah well deserve low kms. I hope you enjoy riding MK7 daily. I hired one last time and it drove so well. Great choice once again!
Yes! Well I have too many on the counter now so I need to slow that down! And the Mk7 is amazing I had a Polo for a month and It was in the workshop longer then I physically had it, so we got rid of it and got the golf! amazing car, No surprise it won world car of the year!

Here you go Joe haha. I'm not planning to do any mods. It's already a stage II+ and my driveway prevents me from getting larger wheels since i wont be able to lower it any more than 10mm. Quite tragic really
Might look into a rear diffuser and a lip and other supporting mods for the engine.
Hey Joe, Thanks for your reply, Not at this current time doing any mods may do in the future. But I've just purchased a MK7 90TSI Comfortline for my daily drive and the scirocco for the Weekends. The km's on the Rocco were getting quite high for such a new car!
Thanks
Matt

I havent posted any pics in a while... these were taken a few months ago now...
She has quite a bit more shine to her now.. I really should take some more pics... just need the right location.. and motivation.
Nice shots! Glad you didn't let her go. The wheels really pop! With the 6 pots sitting behind is a perfect combination.
