Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Help requested about fitment of 19 inch wheels

    Hi Guy's,
I'm new to the forum having just bought a 2012 Eos petrol.
I am looking to buy a set of genuine Audi Peeler wheels in 19 x 8.5 ET43. Can anyone confirm that these will fit without further mods? I'm aware they are both the same stud pattern and I will need hub centre rings, but it's the offset I'm worried about.
    Any help urgently sought!
    Cheers

Not many of us Eos owners on here, welcome, I'm sure you'll love your Eos, great car.

No idea if these rims will fit and not sure if you have 17 or 18 inch currently but I can tell you the standard 17 inch wheels are 7.5 x 17 ET 47. Hope that helps in some way.

    Cheers

Hi George, many thanks. Looks like I'll just have to take a punt.
