Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The compact coupe concept was a good looker I thought. If it comes out like that, thumbs up.

Looks good but I don't see how it is a replacement for the EOS as the main point of the EOS is that it is a convertible. The rumours for a few years now have been that a convertible Passat will replace the EOS, based on the Audi A5 I would guess.

I think a good move, golf cc would place it in direct competition of the upcoming merc CLA. a good market segment to fill. the golf cc shown looks a bit on the bland side though especially headlights and two doors maybe will actually look better as a 4 door ?any ways looking forward to what they bring out. a lot of people dont go for hatch backs and this will be good for them expecially if there is a gti and R version as option as well
            Once had a Red mk6 GTI + DSG + leather + sunroof + mdi + towbar

now have a gorgeous Red Merc A250 AMG Sport

I kinda saw this coming when VW gave the lame excuse that the trend for Metal top convertibles are on down and then the A3 sedan/ Golf coupe concepts started resurfacing.

Given the right driveline, i'd consider one!
