VW Assist Renewal notice

Hi...
Did anyone receive a VW assist renewal notice once the car 's warranty expired?
I purchased the extended warranty, but it's not covered nder this policy.. Chasing up VW on why no renewal sent.....

Yep took up the offer after renewal notice sent.(Nov2010)
Only because it was cheaper than NRMA roadside assist.

Did the same thing with the Passat as it was cheaper than NRMA.

I rang them last week, since we didn't get renewal notice for our Touareg and I was told that they have a delay and they will send them out soon. I was also reassured that we are still covered, anyway the girl on the phone extended it till the end of April.
