I bought a bottom of the range 2.0TDI manual when they first came out in 2007. I cried the day I sold it June this year. I was getting a work vehicle (Golf GTD DSG) so it had to go. easily the best car I've had bright red, so much fun. Ultra reliable and economic 1000k per tank all the time. I actually think the old ones are prettier than the new model but maybe I'm biased...

I have an Eos 147TSI 2009 my10. She has just turned 10 & still puts a smile on my face everytime i drive it! Bought it brand new & I have loved every minute of owning it.
