  • Insurance costs on the Eos

What range of quotes did you get back from your insurance companys re the Eos.

Imagine it would be an expensive repair bill to be rear ended with the roof folded in the boot.

Hi Peter, l dont get my car for another 4 weeks but doing the rounds l've been quoted between $980 - $1300 as a rating 1. Given the options that l've put on - eg chicago, leather seats, bi's, some insurance coy will not offer cover. Being a new models the insurance coy will extract the most $$ they can.

$650 for Individual with Xenons in suburban brisbane with AAMI - Lifetime Rating 1 driver x 10 years + $400 excess ...... includes discount for other insurance with them as well! Just make sure it is insured..... I went for the extended warranty as well - thank god the italians don't make a roof like that!

RACV has quoted me just over $500, I'm 51, live in rural Victoria and have a lifetime No Claims bonus, and that's with bells and whistles. The mods don't cost extra as they are factory fitted and they just quote on the on-road value of the car. Chip tuning may add to your premium or it may not depending on your circumstance, however chip tuning is undetectable and only a dynamometer (rolling road) will give the game away!

Allianz has quoted me just over $500 for Country SE Victoria. If l had registered it in the city, then the cost is well over $870+. Thanks for the chipping info from the other forum.
