It's pretty rapid. 7s to 100, but the real performance is once you are moving. It's as quick as a 135i with in gear acceleration.

Congrats also..... Drove one and was impressed but as I wanted the convertible the 125i has a better soundtrack with the roof down.

Are you getting it built to order or from stock?

Built to order - no pale leather interiors in the country atm apparently. Ordering beige leather interior with cashmere silver paintwork.

I reckon it'll probably be quicker in real use than the Passat. Officially it's 7s 0-100, the Passat is early 6s without launch control. But in gear the 400NM of torque in a car that's about 250kg lighter will make a difference. Nice 50/50 weight distribution, RWD, and yes unless it's wet I reckon she'll be quicker than me both in a straight line and around corners. Having said that, she is quite a sedate driver...
