id tackle it for the right price.
Unfortunately thats not the right price. It would cost a packet to get parts imported for the conversion.
Looks like a really clean car tho! has been for sale for aaaages. was over 20k previously wasnt it?

Yup, not sure why they'd post a pic of the spare wheel (even if it does have the original tools) as opposed to exterior shots?? And besides, I've not got the technical nouse (or money) to even think of trying to tackle a project like that.....shame though as I'd really love a VR6!

ive seen external photos of this one b4. it looks fine. I think 15k would be a fair price if u could complete the conversion under 20k all up. but Im doubting it could be done. given that it has been for sale for so long id be tempted to offer the guy a low number and see if he bites.

Be ok if the sale waS OVERSEAS but its not to expensive I reckon something like 13 k would be a better offer.

Just a quick thing but one of the problems would be welding up the hole from the steering rack and drilling one on the otherside. Getting a dash would be another thats right handed.

You don't need to do anything like that. They are all built to take a steering rack on any side. You'd just swap over the blanking plates.

B3 passats are probly as rare as corrados in australia so that doesnt help! hehe

The dash and the headlights would be the dearest.
It still sounds a bit dodgy. I'd wan't a gaurantee that it could be registered.
                          I knew a guy that nearly got caught with a 16v Golf.n:

Audi TT Dash would fit and looks horn.
You need rear subframe, I know which ones would fit Headlights and loads of other bits. A registered one is prolly only worth $20-$25k, so I wouldn`t pay more than 10 for one that needed converting.
