How wide are your 17 and what offset are they ??

Do they sit outside the wheel archs ??

No, the offset is enough to keep them inside and no rubbing on the inner guards or struts. Think this about the max size. Think 18's would look silly. Personally I think 16's would be the optimum but couldn't find any I liked except Borbets.
