98% prep, 2% spraying. the better the surface, the better the paint will adhere/look/remain. =]. i should know, my car is dodgy paint central.

i vote black with polished lips and nuts. or black nuts. depends on how you like your nuts.

Voted Silver black centres might look better but your wheels will look tiny. Look at Orr's 16's, great rims but don't look like 16's and that's on a biza only gonna look smaller on a mk3...

        Damn the arse-t-a to hell!

Ahem..anyways. I do somewhat agree with Robin actually. Your wheels will look small...but on the other hand they'll go awesomely with your light coloured car, and if you polish those lips they'll look shmick as so I still reckon DOO EEEEETTTTTT

          Black center & polished lips
          no Q asked

That will look way cool on a silver car

Lorenz, did they come with the centrecaps???

I reckon keep them silver if you have the centrecaps. I've seen cars around with replicas of those wheels and they're the type of classic wheel that should stay silver!

Black spokes with silver centers around the hub and wheels nuts maybe?

I remember the pics you posted up of your dad's R32 Skyline. Wheels looked sick on it!

                  More votes for silver!

I've change my mind (shakes fist at ray and his horde of mk3 pics), they're both excellent and as long as you end up getting them done well (whichever way you may choose) they will look fantastic

I just finished painting and refitting my wheels after atacking them with some cans of paint
I liked the look of them in silver, but was so curious to see them with black centres like originally planned. Metallic charcoal was with the final choice of colour after seeing my house mate paint his roll cage the same colour!

Pics just dont do the colour justice, very glossy and heavy metal flake looks great. Didnt wanna go a straight black, so this was a great alternative IMO
