What 17" tyre do you recommend

Hi Guys,

I am looking at a set of 17's to go on my Bora and I am unsure what tyres to go with.... I currently have 16" ContiSportContact's and to be honest I haven't been that happy with them, grip wise, and more-so in the wet.

Previous tyre make I have been happy with are Yokohama and Goodyear but I am open to others opinions...

FYI I rate myself as a "spirited" driver and I am not overly phased by noise, mainly tyre performance / bang for buck.

let me know what you suggest.

I recently purchased some goodyear F1 asymmetrics in a 19" and they are superb.

Tirerack ranked them the no. 1 tyre

they do come in a 17"

not sure if they are currently available in Oz as Goodyear cant seem to make up their minds - give em a call to suss them out.

Maybe even get a quote direct from tirerack, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the price including airfreight to Oz (and add around $400 for GSt, customs etc)

I run Falken Ziex's on mine in 17". Can't fault them at all, excellent grip and good wear, maybe a little noisy but not overly. Highly recommend
