i agree, the car deserves the best. BUT, KWs are $2000 more expensive!! These would make the car look nice for now, im going to Europe in a month and i might ship a set of coilovers from there. So, again, what do you people think of the springs?
Fact R32 MK4, has "the same chassis and suspension" as S3 and TTQ, but is a bit heavier, specially on the front axle than the other two. H&R use the same part number #29438-1 for lowering springs for all three, and imho spring rate is too low. Not sure if other spring manufacturers have options... Check out your options before doing anything you might regret in the future. If using lowering springs, I would recomend you upgrade the shock absorbers as well... and if this was my car, would definetly spend the extra $$ and get the right gear. H&R Coil overs are specific to R32MK4, and have main/helper setup for the rear axle, front spring is progressive. At the end of the day, you are trying to make your car better... Also, very important thing ppl overlook when chosing the product... what are you going to achieve, and what is the purpose of the mod? Some make mistake and buy Coil overs and try to keep the standard height which the Coil overs are not designed to do. When you wind the Coil overs up, you end up increasing the rate of the spring, making the ride harsh and bumpy. It's easy to say, get this and that, but mu advice would be talk to people who know suspension before forking out the $$.
