  • Subaru Wheels for VR6?

Has anyone used Subaru / WRX wheels on a VR6 or other 5 stud vw bolt pattern?

I want 16 or 17s for my Passat VR6 and the Subaru ones are cheap.
The offset is I think 55 for Subaru and 38 For Golf.

Anyone tried em? With / Without clearance issues.

the centre bore on a suby is smaller than a VW so they would need to be modified if they are OEM wheels. Aftermarket usually have a large centre bore and just use rings to fill the void.

This is what i understand anyways. I looked into putting liberty B4 rims on my VR6 but it was a no go for the above reason from memory. and the offset is just a bit too much

I don't know what stud pattern ford is, but a while ago I wanted to get some Territry 17" steel wheels for one of my golfs and redrill them to suit.
