  • Anti sway bars for Passat 3C

I have a 2007 Passat 3C 3.2L V6 4Motion sedan. I’m planning to upgrade the suspension to achieve better handling, particularly turn in. Plan is to do it in stages starting with stiffer anti sway bars, then move on to shocks and maybe springs.

For my model/year Whiteline only have bars for FWD, not AWD. That seems to leave a choice of either H&R or ST Suspensions – a KW Automotive brand. Each company has a different approach.

H&R do a 24mm front bar and 26mm rear. ST Suspensions offer a 26mm front bar and a 22mm rear – this combination of a smaller rear bar is more what I’m used to with previous cars. However H&R probably have a better name and are more expensive.

I’d like to hear from anyone who has done something similar, particularly for AWD even if it’s a Golf. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
