hey guys I got some bbs rm 15x6.5 et15 and plan on running 195/50 on my 1998 6n polo! so I thought id test fit them today and im not sure if its right or im being weird, so please help!?

need wheel experts help!
You'll likely need new wheels to get proper fitment. These have too aggressive offset to be legal on your car (unless you're just fitting for shows).
You could take them to a good wheel/machine shop to see if you can get them machined to reduce the offset. Depending on how much material there is it may be possible.
Otherwise you'll have to find what car these suit and offload them.

Do what the 4wd boys do, fit spats, you can trim them so they fit correctly and your wheel should be legal.

Sh*t as if ET15 6.5 is poking! I really doubted this. Are the backs of the wheels 100% against the hubs? If so how many mm of poke do you have? Could get smaller lips which would take you back another few mm - but that's probably not worth it. Guard rolling? There's a few different routes.2019 132TSI Tiguan

Yeah the backs are 100% touching, not sure how much it is out by! Guessing about 2-3mm

If it's only that little I reckon you could:
a) get the backs shaved down at the same time as the drill and fill
b) pull your guards to cover that 2-3mm
c) run stretched tyres so you don't rub against the guards.
d) hope you don't get pulled by VIC Police.

p.s. they do look absolutely amaze balls and will definitely be worth the effort you're putting in to them! I would've held on to them if I could've widened them out but imagine sticking another 25mm of poke on top of what you've got now - that's what I'd be dealing with haha!2019 132TSI Tiguan

A wheel specialist should be able to machine the inner face of the wheel hub if there is sufficient metal to work with. It will depend how deep they have drilled the clearance holes for the wheel bolts.Originally posted by defie View Post
