  • Borbet A's on a Mk3 VR6, Whatta my chances?

    hey all you wheel guru's

excuse my ignorance but i dont really know much about the tech side of wheels eg, offset lol

But I know that I like dish as I have dish on my mk1. Gotti cups to be acurate love em dearly.

anywho, I used to want Borbet A's for the mk1 but then I got the Gottis. I then forget all about the A's until i saw this pic....mmm goodness

Where would I be able to find em? Ive been looking on ebay but nothing much. What are some websites/stores that sell em? any in Aus dare i ask lol.

im assuming the ones in the pic are 9" wide 16".

i know that i have to roll the gaurds, stretch the tires a lil and drop it like its hot

but apart from that "i know nathing" lol.

any major dramas to fit em?

will consider selling the BBS RN's for these. and i love my RN's

    cheers guru's

Eric you can try Submeister.co.uk but I just checked they only got 7.5 in 4x100

They also have some other mad rims as I was looking at there wheel range when I was looking for a set of wheels!

However you can try some sexy Kerscher wheels I think they look better!

http://dubmeister.co.uk/wheelinfo.ph...&style=Carmona And they are the same pretty much!

Edit I also looked Keskin KT1s as I thought they where awesome aswell!

      Hope this helps.

        thanks Steve.

The Kerscher rims look nice. Thats the kinda style ive been looking at.

I ve been looking at keskins also but i think the KT1's have a little too much bling if you know what I mean (ie, the little bolts). Dont get me wrong I love them but I wanna go for the more minimal look like the A's or the Carmona's. I want the focus to be on the dish.

ill have to try and look for it next week as I have used up all my downloads so now my internet speed is running at dial up speed . might have to go to unlimited.

so are they running 8"-9" or are they 7.5" with spacers???

anyway i do like the kerschers. And these Brock B1's:

I have some 16 x 7.5 A's on the GTI. Wasn't really fussed when I bought them but as you can see from my posts I'm a big fan now

Had them up for sale awhile ago but no interest. Still undecided as I haven't found any RS to replace them.

Your wheel choices are A-list stuff Trouble is you won't find any locally for sale in your sizes! You'd have to look into shops like dubmeister, or bought privately through forums. There are quite a few examples for sale due to their popularity over in the States and Europe, but finding a trustworthy seller who will ship internationally would be the harder thing.

By the way, I've seen Type A's on BMWs before in my area, though they look like the 7.5" ones. It also had the hex centrecap like in your second post, except the centrecap is a BMW logo...
