  • Confusion still Reigns!!!!

Although the listing brackie found lists my 74 Passat with an offset of 32-38, I have the original manual, a haynes manual and a couple of US manuals and they have the offset as 45, now I am really bloody confused. A mechanic who just did some work for mr said i should not have any troubles getting 15s even with this so cslled 'floating disk' aaaarrrggghhh!!!!! What do I do. i am still not sure if 15x6.5s will fit under my rear guard. perhaps i will just turn it into a hover craft.

    Viderliker.

PS I still have'nt forgot about the 14s yet!!!!

that difference in et is minimul 13mm at the most, as a rule lower et i.e further out from the centre of the car i safer than higher et further in.

i would imagine unless you are really low that those wheels would fit real easy

Yeah Steve has a Passat Wagon with wide 15s on it and they fit easy, even with a lowered car. He might run 17s soon. Check out his car in the Sydney Cruise pics in the events section. Its a similar vintage to your one.
