Will these fit a mk4 golf ? 17x7 et 40 on 235/40 tyres

Just wondering if these will fit b4 I go ahead n buy them they advertised as fit vw Audi subaru.they are are multi stud 5x100 5x114.New here hope it's right place to post.Stock suspension should also add,and if they fit would a 1-1.5" drop be ok ? Please help with details if they need spacers etc n wheel nut size also.

They fill fit at stock height,
Should be ok lowered too, but spacers would be ideal.
