Hey all,
So recently purchased a new set of wheels these to be exact(
).
The specs on the wheels are 18x8 et 43.
This is how they sit:
At this point in time I have not yet lowered the car but will soon (h&r 50mm), the tyres that came on the wheels have a little bit of tread left so I thought I'd see how they run on the car. they are 245/40r18.
Currently I am experiencing a little bit of scrubbage on really bad bumps, and on super tight cornering(if there is unevenness in the road). From what I can tell the scrubbing is only happening on the screw inside the fender/guard, which can be fixed by doing the screw mod.
ok so finally to the point, what offset are others running without getting too much scrubbing?, and what size tyre would work with this setup? anyone have any similar specced wheels, and what tyre sizes are you running.
