  • Spacers in WA - Illegal?

Hi people,is it true wheel spacers are illegal in WA? What about wheel adapters are they also illegal?
    Thanks.

Spacers/adapters are illegal across Australia unless they were original equipment on the car. Don't wanna be a douche but Google is your friend

This is the ADR Rule which applies AUSTRALIA WIDE

4.2.2 is about spacers and adaptors

SO the answer to the title is YES they are ILLEGAL in WA or ANYWHERE in Aus EXCEPT IF ORIGINAL ON VEHICLE FROM FACTORY

Not that it seems to stop many, going by the number bought and sold on here

I read somewhere that in WA 10mm was ok, I checked this when I fitted them to my old S#. Unfortunately I cant locate the original advice.

however, the ADr is quite clear!

Despite this, most modifications, including reflashes, exhausts, coilovers, lowering spring etc are classified as "illegal" but doesnt stop it being done
