Hi guys!
Tried the search function. Can't find something beneficial...
My Golf R has H&R blue sport springs. It lowers the car around 20 to 25mm... I have had it fitted with Koni Sport Yellow dampers which are damping adjustable... The Konis are all 4 on factory setting which is full soft. Full hard will be a 720 degree or 2 full turns firmer.
I need to know which is the best setup or adjustment for the drag strip? I have been thinking 360 degrees or 1 full turn for the rear followed by 180 degrees or 1/2 a turn for the fronts? Will this help with traction off the line as the Golf R is mainly FWD although it has a Haldex...
Anybody that has more knowledge here that can assist? The car is also equipped with H&R ARBs and also has full PowerFlex bushings up front. Other mods include the Tyrolsport Deadset collar subframe kit and the VWR subframe engine mount. The Haldex on the car is still dead stock.
Any advice would be appreciated guys...
