need helo : Will 18" * 8.5 et35 fit a MK6 gti

Hey guys,

Looking at getting a set of used Rotiforms, wondering if 18 * 8.5 " ET35 will sit legally on my MK6 gti?

Had a try of the calculators but i cant work it out?? help pls

if your standard wheel size is 17.7.5 ET51 then the 8.5's would stick out an extra 29mm than your standard wheel

Can i get away with the extra 29mm as fair as main roads is concerned, with no scrubbing?

Depends on how you drive and tyre size.
But yes, 18x8.5et35 can fit on a mk6 pending

Technically I don't think they will sit legally without some work, as 29mm extra poke will be beyond the guards and most state laws say no to this.

Having said that a quick search on here and elsewhere indicates some pretty aggressive fitments being done.. your call on how far you want to go.
