Attention: Machined faced wheel owners (Detroits etc)

Up until now I was led to believe that if you kerbed any rims that had a machined cut or machined front face, then there was little hope of getting them repaired successfully.

Today I visited a repairer that I had not used for a couple of years. They have just invested a considerable sum of money on a machine that will re-face the machined finish on modern alloys. I saw an example of what they can do and it was staggering, the finish on the wheel was like a new one.

they can be repaired no worries. its the fact people get one repaired and it never matches the other three.

Excellent - any VIC repairers have this? i've got 1 wheel with 2 marks on and did not want to pay too much $$ to have fixed (or buy 2 replica's)
