Keep an eye on ebay and classifieds on here, a lot pop up.

Not exactly in Australia, but buying them from Japan is great way to go aswell, can get them very cheap and shipping isn't much either.

Buying bargain used JDM wheels from Japan in 5x100 is fine for those who know what questions need to be asked...whether that be in English or Japanese. One important thing is often overlooked and that is most JDM wheels from factory are made with a standard bolt pitch of M12. You are potentially faced with the dilemma of either having to drill them out to M14 or get the correct adapters. The other alternative of course is to order cu$tom new wheels and have them built in the correct specs.

I learned the hard way 3 years ago and was shafted after I repeatedly asked a guy if the bolt pitch was M14 or M12, he swore blue the wheels would fit...and well, when the wheels arrived I was gutted to see they were M12.

emailed this site from UK and will deliver alloys only to australia for 300 pounds or 450 dollas on top of 800 dollas for the wheel themselves so 1250 aint bad because a few of these wheels are nice!

I bought my wheels from Performance Alloys
Their shipping (to my door) was about the same. They offer to ship for only $200 if you pick up from customs but can lead to all sorts of hassles so I paid the extra

AlloyWheels.COM is another place I almost bought from

Same here...but it also minimises your ability to on-sell the wheels in the future.

putting a 14mm hole back on a 12mm stud/bolt car doesnt hurt if they are using the right seat type

I got my S3 rims from BMAutosport.

Price, service and quality is great. I purchased from them after I'd seen lots of great reviews on British Audi forums

I believe TireRack can do $300 delivery for 4 wheels to AU. Very good price for OZ and premium tyres.

You and I both know this but the fact remains, people are of the opinion that it absolutely diminishes wheel value.

I recently attempted to trade in my 18inch Gram Lights Time Attack which have been drilled out, for a secondhand set of 17inch Advans which in the secondhand market are probably equivalent in resale value...yet I was instructed to sell them elsewhere due to them being drilled out. Was disappointing considering my wheels are in super condition and were probably better than the Advans I was trading for.
