  • Team Dynamics. Where to buy?

    Hi,
I am keen to throw a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s rims on my 6r Polo gti.

From rimstock here I was quoted around $1600 Delivered.

However on the standard 1.2 I've been quoted $1000aud delivered from the uk.

Anyone had experience pushing for an in between price from a local supplier? Or any tips for the best place to buy, either local or os?

    Thanks

    Team Dynamics. Where to buy?

Os mate. Local just can't compete on price because they have to buy them at a higher price to begin with.

Either pocket the extra ~$400 (you will have to pay gst and duty) and endure the wait and buy overseas or pay the additional ~$400 and support local business and get them immediately...

I am keener to support local business that's true, just have to see what makes sense.

I think it might work out to more than $400 difference as I think under $1000 goods I still don't pay duty.

That difference is hard to not look at, $2-300 I'm fine with to buy local.

Would like to hear of peoples experience buying locally, I've contacted Rimstock here and asked again for their best price so I don't have to import, I don't expect them to match at all, just get closer.

Racer Industries are the AU Agents. Their price is more than fair for their support IMHO.

Well Rimstock Australia have been great and are able to do a custom order and provide me with a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in a solid colour without the Embossed outer edge just like those made for Volkswagen Racing UK at no extra cost.

This all works out at only a 3-400 hundred more than a standard order from the UK plus I have the great service of a local supplier. Win Win.

Now I have to decide on Black or Anthracite?????

Just to bring this to a close.

I didn't end up going with the pro race.

I ordered the vw motorsport wheels through the dealer for the same price installed.
Both are great rims so I couldn't lose making a choice between them.
