    When i see wheels being posted for sale i always see the offset specifications, like et +35, or +30 whatever, was just wondering what this actually refers to as i dont know.

    Have a look here and you can play with it a see what effect it has Wheel-Tire size comparer - RIMSnTIRES.com. It refers to where in relation to the edge of the rim the edge of the hub sits

      Basically a measurement of where the mounting face of the wheel sits in relation to the width of the wheel
      old school guys will refer to back space instead of offset

        It actually refers to how far in or out from the centre rim line the face of the hub sits. Minus is inside the centre line Plus is outside the line.

          ohhhhhhh! alright! now i understand! for some reason i kept thinking it had something to do with camber angle :/ This makes sense now! thats heaps!
