  • Semi Slick Track Tyres

Ok I bought myself a set of 16x7 rims that I'd like to use predominantly as track rims.

The question I have is what brand tyres do people reccomend as semi slicks???

and how much can I expect to pay for semi slicks in 205/45/16's???

For God's Sake, Robin. You got a death wish? If George hears you say that ... it's firing squad at dawn, Mate.

about 320 a corner for 16's... those are for semi slicks, close to racing slicks in my opinon, but i was quoted that price before when i asked...

yeah 1200 a set pretty much...

when i got new tyres for my thing, the next step up was semi slicks (yokohama's) he was asking $300 a tyre but that was for a 14" rim, maybe $400 a tyre for the bigger wheel?

Thanks for that guys, I can't justify $300+ a corner with my current budjet.

Might have to get some cheap crappers that I can just destroy on the track. So what if I lose 2 seconds a lap ha ha.
