  • Help me decide on which wheels.

Looking to get some 19" black wheels for my Golf to replace my 18" Detroits. Sick of the shiny polished wheels and want to go the dark stealth look.

I'm thinking either BBS CH, OZ Racing SuperTurismo's or Oz Racing Ultraleggera's.

Did a quick photoshop to see what they would look like on my car so I can get some idea but wouldn't mind your opinions.

    BBS CH

    SuperTurismo

    Ultraleggera

2007 Black Magic VW Golf GT TDi, Latte Leather, Sunroof, Bluefin Superchip, 18" Detroits, APR lower torque arm insert, APR Carbon Fibre Cold Air Intake system, GTi sideskirts & front lip, R32 Rear Bar, GTi Steering wheel, RNS-510,Infinity BassLink Subwoofer, stubby antenna, R8 Oil Cap, Golf R front calipers, slotted front rotors, ceramic brake pads, LITEC LED tail-lights, Dension Gateway Five, Rear Emblem Reverse Camera, H&R Ultralow coil-overs, Badge-less front grille

    All look good.
Although I am a bit bias to ch atm.
Will give you a heads up, if buying black/dark wheels on a black car, work out what tyre shine works nice with your tyres, and get lots of it. Cos you will be applying it lots!

+1 on the CH as well, I think they suit the mk5 shape and the silver lip does provide a little definition to the whole wheel (although I've seen this can be removed as well).

I just got ultraleggras for my polo but if I had a golf I'd go the BBS.

Cheers for that but looking for 19" x 8", 8.5" will be going a bit wide, especially as I intend to drop the car quite low and want to avoid any rubbing issues.

Yeah as much as I love the CH's I'm starting to feel the same - am pushing for the Superturismo's but no one seems to like them much.
