  • Poly Bushings in MKIV R32

I have so many darn squeaks and creaks travelling on any road surface. I have heard this could be due to the polyurethane bushings I have???
If so, how much is a full replacement set of OEM rubber bushings going to cost and where can I obtain them?

    Cheers,
    Jed

Give everything a squirt with some lube Jed. It's a fact of life with poly, getting it 100% free of noise is tough. The rear front wishbone bush in particular is prone as it is getting twisted rather than rotating.

I'd probably get them replaced with the std ones and see how that goes, if you are determined to removed all the poly.

I don't have any poly on my S3 and that still makes horrible noises.

      Thanks Gav

I think I'll try and replace it with all the standard bushings. How do we get rid of all these damn creaks and squeaks!?
I wish there was a single remedy for all of them haha

I find that most people dont change the sway bar bushes which dont come in the refresh kits . Re-tightening the bolts is a must after 1000 or so kms . Really shouldnt need to lubricate the bushes as dirt/dust gets stuck to it a lot easier .

Do the swaybar bushings tend to make clunking noises? And do you have any fixes on interior rattles/squeaks?

I only have harder rollbars with special bushings and they squeak
