BBS Bolts HELP! :(

Hey guys just bought ale Genuine BBS wheels and tried to undo the bolts as they are 2 piece.
Torx 45 was slightly to big and torx 40 is to small and threads the torx head when I try undo them.
I'm just wondering is there a tool/size or something I should be using?

You need to speak to 'vdubin' he's just sucessfully (yet painfully) split and refurbed his which have the same bolts as these. He know's what tool it is - from memory it's something like an M7 spline? 10 bolts broke in the process and we've had to order replacements from Germany, posted to the UK and then forwarded here - apparently sending directly to Australia 'is impossible' :/

The tool bit you need is size M8.
You can buy this from Bunnings, unfortunately you can only get that bit in a tool kit which was around the $50 mark. I'll post pictures and some other major things about splitting these wheels this Arvo.
Did you import the wheels?

Thanks for that guys a friend of mine said he thinks he has the tool when the other 3 come in (1came yesterday -.- 3 should be coming today...) he will bring it round and see. **** hope none of mine break :/

Hey vdubin, I got them from a seller here from Sydney I don't know if he has imported them.

The tool bit you need is size M8.
You can buy this from Bunnings, unfortunately you can only get that bit in a tool kit which was around the $50 mark.

You should be able to buy them individually from Bursons or a bolt shop - Bunnings is not the best choice for hardware, sometimes.

M8 12pt bit, same tool used for Mk1-Mk3 driveshaft bolts (probably other cars too).
