Few Q's about Shocks to match Neuspeed Springs

Hey guys, looking at getting Neuspeed race or sport springs after i get my 18' wheels and i was wondering what would be the smoother more comfortable riding shocks to match the springs for my MKV TDI

Photos with feedback would be fantastic!

Or does anyone recommend a nice combination... i want to sit low but not scrap speed humps and driveways as i will have 2 adults and a baby in the car 80% of the time. Hence no coilovers for nice lows

or can anyone show me VWR Springs that match the stock suspension height on an MKV, i have seen them on a MKVI but i think its slightly too high for my liking

Also would neuspeed race springs which they say is a 2inch drop put me under 100mm clearance? and render my car illegal height? i want to stay legal as melbourne is just getting raped with defect for the smallest things in the last few months...
