  • Centre Bore Question

Noob as question. What if any issues would come from using a wheel spacer with a Different centre bore than the one specified for your vehicle?

Either won't fit if its too small, or cause vibration depending on thickness

Ahk, I'm lost though.... It says that the centre bore is 1mm less, but it more than clears the hub....? (By at least 10mm). If the stud pattern is correct how would there be any problem with it being centred??

It should be like running non-hubcentric spacers. I wouldn't do it but then I wouldn't run hubcentric spacers, either.

What are the dangers of running both hub enteric and non hub enteric spacers? I need to run some sort I spacer to clear brakes

            Legal (check your state's laws)
can break, cause an accident (there is a thread on here currently about spacers cracking / breaking)
could allow movement where there is not supposed to be any, which may damage the hub, bolts, etc.

Its hard to say, could be fine, could be disastrous. If you are going to use them, at least get good ones with suitable bolts.

Im guessing you have found some cheap/second hand.
just buy some with bolts suited to your car... dont muck around with stuff like that

Are bolt on spacers less dangerous than slip ons? I get the fact that slip on spacers can be pretty dangerous, but surely bolt on are much safer?

hub centric all the way bud , your asking for trubble with cheep sh*te other wise , as others said dont go for the cheapest either , have you checked if you need spigot rings as well ? cheap 'of the shelf ' spacers , you can never be 100% that they are central , and if they arn't your bolts/lugs will work loose ................
wheel whore's ....................yeah right , we can all buy a pretty sticker !
