You haven't said which tyre size you're going to run, which is the deciding factor!
You'll need 195/40/16s to have success You could also stretch over a 165/45/16 but these wouldn't allow you to drive very hard. Neither size is easy to get locally, but no dramas from overseas.
In any case, ET20 will rub quite badly without a bit of arch work and well-sorted suspension.

What's the offset and width of the current wheels? To give you a general idea:
* Wheels with the same offset but differing widths poke out and extend in about 12 mm to 13 mm per increasing inch. For example, an 8" ET45 wheel would poke out 12 mm more but will also be closer to the suspension by 12 mm compared to a 7" ET45 wheel.
* Wheels with differing offset but same widths are positioned in that a lower offset will allow a wheel to poke out AND give more suspension clearance (you probably know this already). For example, an 8" ET20 wheel compared to an 8" ET45 wheel will sit further out by exactly 25 mm. Same deal with the inside section - you get 25 mm more suspension clearance. This is essentially how spacers/adapters work.
Anyway, when you find out the specs of your current wheels, give that 1010tire.com offset calculator a workout. I've used it before and it's accurate. I used a measuring tape to see the difference I would be getting compared to the old wheels before I put on the new wheels. Once I did, the wheel was sitting exactly where I had my measuring tape.
I'd get the ET35s and then you can space them out when you upgrade your suspension and modify your arches further in the future. Best of the both worlds then
