Hi all, can anyone recommend a good quality set of springs to lower my R Line with? I only want to lower by about 25mm, no more as I don't want any rubbing as I'm running spacers as well.

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Dropped my Tig about 30mm with Eibach Pro Kit springs. Impressed with how they work regarding front-end lift & dive (& rear 'squatting') under more aggressive acceleration & braking. Car looks great just that little bit lower, too!Current: MY18 TRANSPORTER CrewVan, Indium Grey

H&R or Eibach are the ones most commonly used on here and vortex.

Where did you get your springs from and what model? I had a look on the Eibach site but didn't come up with anything for the Tiguan... though there are some on ebay: EIBACH PRO-KIT LOWERING SPRINGS VW Tiguan (5N) 07- E10-85-020-01-22

Hi, tigger73. I'll check when I get home tonite, but it was an eBay seller out of the UK.
They were about 20 bucks cheaper than out of the states, inc. freight.Current: MY18 TRANSPORTER CrewVan, Indium Grey

Thanks MGV.
Hope you didn't mind me pinching your picture - just thought it was good to post one here too as it'll likely get "lost" in the Tig picture thread in the future.
Did you price up the springs here or are they just too expensive to buy locally?
The US guys prices are better but freight costs from the US are a killer.
I'll probably have to find someone locally to get these fitted.

tigger73, i tried pricing locally, but after wasting a couple of hours, i got the *****s & just bought them off ebay seller mjd128. I probably should have looked a bit harder...
The part number is exactly as you have written above & price was AU$322.45, p&h AU$132. Pedders charged me $440 to fit including a 4 wheel alignment. They seemed to know what they were doing, but over-tightened my wheel nuts way more than necessary, & scuffed up the paint on my wheels also...
Hope this helps, good luck!Current: MY18 TRANSPORTER CrewVan, Indium Grey
