What are a set of new Detroits worth from VW vs what you can get on the street?

From the dealer? I was quoted $3500-$4000 with factory tyres from a few Melbourne based dealers.
From the street? I've seen on here and the 'other' place rims in good condition sell for $800-1000 and with rubber $1200-1600
