  • Balancing query - Melbourne

I need the wheels on my GTI balanced. Having read some stories about tyre dealers taking less than good care of rims, I am keen to hear recommendations regarding who will balance the wheels using the stick on weights as supplied from the factory, and not damage my rims. Somewhere in the Moorrabin region would be great.
    Thanks

Whichever place you decide to take the car to I would be asking some questions before handing over the car or the money... if you are concerned about the weights they will use then tell them your preference. Get all what you want agreed to be done before you hand over the car. As for the damage to wheels or your car when in their hands, it comes back to their responsibility and they should fix any damage they have done during the time they have the car. I would not accept anything else if it were me.

It doesn't matter where you go, there will always be someone there, incapable of preforming a relatively simple task, without making a meal of it.

Also, if you are really 'lucky', they will try extra hard . . .
