yea probably will rub front and rear, will def need spacers, a really low profile and maybe have to pump out the guards on the rear. Ive got 9.5" on my T4 and the just clear maybe 10mm or less with 8.5" on the front no problem given the big wheels arches and height. Have u got these wheels? pics?
You say you don't rub in the fronts with 8.5? You're running 35 offset right? What size tyres?
How low are you exactly? I want to put 19s on my car but the few wheels that come in the right offset and 5x100 are mostly 8.5 wide. Car is currently on 17x8s and rubs on turns, but I am quite low so i expect that. I don't care for rubbing as long as I can still drive the car lol.
Does anyone know if the tyres on a wheel that is 8.5 will be wider than tyres on an 8 inch wide wheel? Or are the same tyres used?

how do you know he'll need spacers when you dont know the offset? the offset is the key.
Hey 99GTI what size tyres are you running on the back? you say you have 10" wide? Yea you're right offset is the key, my bad. on my 9.5" im running a 255/40/17
