  • O.Z Superturismo LM (will it fit without modifying the guards)?

    Hey guys,

I am currently looking at purchasing some wheels and I was just wondering if they would fit without modifying the front/rear guards?

    My car is a 2011 GOLF R.

    Wheels Specs:

    Enkei RPF1

    19x8 +35

Thanks in advance for all the help,

    Avdo Hasanovic

P.S if this has been covered before, sorry but I couoldnt find any good info.

this is the most common question in the mk5+ world.
check out all the guys running the VMR wheels in the same specs (19x8.5et45) it normally comes down to tyre size between the not 100% legal 225/35 (due to load rating) and 235/35

are you lowered? that plays a big part

To be honest I haven't even thought about to check other wheels to compare.

My car is not lowered, but I don't want the wheels to stick out of the guards. Also, I would be running the stock tyres that came with the car (19" talladega's).

they will poke out. stock is 19x8 offset +50 or +51.

19x8 offset +42 is probably the max, but this will rub with 235 35 19.

19x8 +45 will still rub without fender modification.

          rubbing occurs on hard cornering.

but dont let this stop u fr going a nice stance but please avoid SUV stance without lowered

why change the wheel to a more aggressive spec when your already questioning 8.5et45?
your question has already been answered

                Hey Avdo,

Have you looked at this guide? Might give you some idea of the resultant difference.

                  Hey Paul,

thanks for that. I am still not sure what to get. I want the OZ Ultraleggera in 19x8 +45 but no-one has got any in stock.
Ah, btw I got the control arms installed (sorry). What a difference when you start pushing around corners. I'm gonna get the roll centre adjusting ball joint as well. Can't wait.

Hahaha, you're right. The bug has bitten me the day I picked the car up.

SprintBooster is great, my wife love's it even more (she's racing everyone off the line).
