    Hi all,
Have just ordered a set of Eibach springs for my Tiguan. Just wondering, do i need to have anything done with the camber with a specific 'kit', or will a wheel alignment take care of changes to camber? Car will be lowered about 30mm.

    Thanks!

You won't need to have anything done with a specific camber kit from memory.

The Tig runs a small amount of camber form the factory and this will need to be adjusted with a wheel alignment when you get the springs installed as it will naturally pull them inwards when lowered.

Thanks for reply, looking forward to having them installed & closing that gap a little! Coming from UK, so probably still a good week away...

Hey guys, my springs showed up today, 5 1/2 days from purchase out of the UK, pretty quick!

Just after a bit of feedback, if anyone knows, on a couple of suspension shops near where i work. Pedders are about 3 mins drive away, in Bulleen, & ABS are about 7 mins away in Heidelburg.

Anyone recommend either of these or suggest somewhere else inner NE Melbourne?

Thanks, will post up a pic or 2 when fitted.

          hi mate,

call around to get a quote (obviously), but i found that labor was expensive at suspension shops, when compared with either vw mechanics or other vw specialists.

i had my springs (polo tdi) put in at volkspower, and later i had coilovers installed by josh & tim at dubaddiction headquarters in springvale. in both cases, pricing was better than suspension shops.

the awesome thing about dubaddiction was that not only was the pricing good, but i got to actually get under the car and have a look during installation, learning a couple of things, rather than "oi get back to the waiting room and read a some 4 year old vogue magazines!".

dubaddiction is a sponsor on here, username is "tim". maybe pm him to explore the possibility...

              hi mate

nah - havent been up this season. i'm in indonesia for a few months, and i was planning to go to perisher for a month or so but fortunately/unfortunately i've got a sheightload of work to do as i try to set up a new business, as well as having to spend a couple of weeks in kyoto in late august/early september, to help my kid sister move there for her uni degree, so it doesnt look like i'll be getting to the snow in oz this year - which is a bit of a bummer because it's looking like a good season!

i used to be a season pass holder at buller, and just do day trips (up to 30 a year).

your 5 day trip should be awesome (im kinda envious lol)! what kind of terrain do you ride? do you ski/snowboard/both?
