colour of rims

Hey guys,

thinking of putting rims on my CSG gti mk6 and was just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the colour of rim that would suit a CSG the best

i keep thinking a machined faced with a black lip

any comments appreciated

machined faced with a black lip will look small... so you'd wanna run 19"
what sort of wheels are you looking at?

Being charcoal grey u sometimes can be limited to colours, I myself would go a black chrome edge with the centres being black, but also finish off your callipers also in black chrome, it really all depends on ur personal choice, I hope this helps

Red to match the grille stripes but in all seriousness I think that CSG looks better with lighter/brighter colours as opposed to black but that's my opinion

I understand that is not everybody's cup of tea - especially VW motorsport wheels, but I like it... so it is black for me:








Only thing that I am not happy is centre caps - I want to apply some dark tinting - film... still to keep VW logo but not so prominent

hmm not to keen on black on black for a csg....it doesnt look as bas as i thought but...
if i go 19's will i need to flare the guards? or only if i lower?

19's will be fine at standard height without guard work but make sure you get an accurate offset.

csg is a hard colour to get wheels for, it's actually dareker than gunmetal and black doesn't show it off well.
I would say go for a polished face for those 310's otherwise go fluoro green or white.

My bad, read CSG as DSG >.> Either way it's all wheel dependent. You can get pretty creative with painting, matching colours etc.
I'm a big fan of lime green with that colour, if you're going all 1 colour. But I understand It's a bit daring to the conventional.

cars in shades of white/grey/or black are the easiest for making wheels suit. can do ANY colour and itll work
