Has anyone used them? they seem to be grey importers which i dont have a problem with as its the same as when you buy tirerack, and probably tempetyres, however ive read some not so great reviews online and was wondering if anyone could vouch for them, their prices seem real cheap. i dont even think tempe are as cheap.

eg pirelli p6's for 140, regular shop quoted 209
kumho ku31 for 140, regular shop quoted ~190

    Thanks

I bought a set of wheels and tyres for our Cruze (Vertini Magics) from ozzytyres. If you're only planning on buying a set of wheelor tyres from them without expecting any after sales customer support, then yeah buy from them cause their pricing can be quite competitive when they have massive discounts on. HOWEVER...don't believe them when they say to you over the phone or via email "I'll look after you" cause you'll never hear from them again if you have any issues or require any back up. For example, they advertise their wheel and tyre packages with wheel nuts, lock nuts and centre bore locating rings. Guess what my set came with? Mismatched set of wheel nuts, no lock nuts and no wheel nut allen tool to install the wheels or take them off with if you get a flat. To make things worse, they didn't even bother to include any centre bore locating rings. When I called them about the ring, they said I didn't require them. When I emailed them about the wheel lock nuts and wheel nut removal tool, either one of the two things happened depending on who you spoke to or emailed. I.e. "I'll get back to you and will look after you" or they never replied even after several emails.

Oh and when I asked of they could do the same deal for 2 of the same wheels I got them for when on sale (beacuse the missus and mum scrapped both of them within 3 weeks), they once agian said "don't worry...we'll look after you" BUT also said I need to email them my customer testimonial and pics of the car first!!! WTF?

Hope my experience with them helps.

yeah that was a funny one - they wouldnt do the deal unless you emailed your testimonial first.

funny, because for such sheisty extortionists, you'd have thought they'd have hundreds of testimonials that they've simply made up, themselves.

I've ordered a set of wheels for my Father's car from them, was told they'd be in my hands in 2 weeks. Turns out they where out of stock, then the shipment didn't come, etc, etc. Still waiting and it was almost 2months ago. Dad phoned the other week and he was assured it'd be 3weeks max..
Not so sure about that though. I definitely wouldn't deal with them again.

it's one of those things.. if there's something in your mind saying 'NO', especially when its car related.. you're best to listen to that voice.

I agree but be wary that your total product cost (before shipping) isn't over $1k AU otherwise you incur import duty and customs fees.

I used tempetyres and basically they took 2 weeks to respond to emails and unless you call them and want something easy and in stock it's not oging to happen easily.

My advice is to use Tirerack or any of the other recommendations.

I've bought 2 and a half sets of just tyres (10 tyres total) from Ozzytyres in the last 3 months, ordering on their online store and found them faultless.
Got what I ordered and within 3 to 5 days (free) delivery to my house in rural Queensland. (2 hours north of Brisbane)

you must have given them an advance testimonial or something, haha.

i cant believe it's taken me this long to chip in, but...

i got my federal 595rsr's from option 1 garage in qld. great advice (i was tossing up between a few different tyres), great prices ($145 is dirt cheap for a non-r spec semi slick), and it only took like 2 days for them to ship the tyres down to melbourne.

needless to say i was impressed and i'll be getting more tyres from them in future, both for my car and my mom's megane.

I got a set of 20s of ozzytyres for my FPV ute and I had no hassle with them. Even the communication was alright when we had to figure out what width we needed

                          Hi Gti dave/everyone,

Saw your comments regarding ozzytyres and I'm thinking of getting some wheels and tyres off them. I actually went to the store and got a full quote for a 19 magic in black with p zero corsas. Their going to fit them in with black bolts etc...

Did you purchase your set from the shop or online?

Did you get the vertini magic? What are your thoughts on them?

Really appreciate any info you anyone would have.... Wanting to upgrade but don't want to spend a lot of money.

                          Thanks!!!

Also want to add that when you google ozzy tyre reviews on the net, you can see that most of the positive reviews, seem dodgy and tainted. It's as if they themselves have written them.....

If anyone else here knows or has heard of any good or bad experiences with ozzy tyres, would really appreciate your input! )

...right now, I might be sticking to my gut feeling and staying away.
