I am changing the colour of the wheels from silver to gloss black. The spare set has been done.
Next job is to buy tyres and I'm going from 205/65 X 15 to 215/70 X 15 (original 195/70 X 15). This will correct the speedo which , at 100kph reads 8% fast. The lasger size tyres will, I hope, reduce engine reves at higher speeds, give a more accurate speedo reading, give longer tyre life through less revs per kilometre and give 12mm greater ground clearance. All will benefit us when travelling on some horrible gravel/dirt roads we plan to use in the future (eg. Oodnadatta)
Anyone have this size (215/70 X 15) on their T4?
Chart shows the differance between the 195s & 215s. 205/65 give another 1% improvement.
