Will a 5x114.3 wheel fit a 5x112 (Mk6 Golf) StudPattern?
yes and no...
not directly (obviosuly 114.3 vs 112 is different)
but as alex pointed out special bolts can be purchased that usually solve the problem. just have to make sure the jap wheel is to suit 14mm bolts, not 12mm..

You would have to drill out the bolt holes quite a bit right?

thats what i thought but apparently not??
I still cant get my head around how it works, guess it is only 1.15mm out of each bolt at the end of the day (114.3-112 = 2.3 / 2 = 1.15mm... yes?), alot of wheels iv had the bolts arent a tight fit inside the hole so the 1.15mm could work?
but then how does it stop the lose bolt head moving and allowing the wheel to turn freely against the hub... the bolt heads dont look like they move just one way
