Hi was just wondering if anyone had any idea as to how much it would cost to get 4 wheels sand blasted and powder coated roughly? and any suggestions for places in sydney? thanks in advance
eastern wheel works, Fireside.
Cookie28 it can depend on size, type (single or 3 piece etc) as they might have to be split if multipiece, and also what the finish was previously, apparently some wheels are a real pain to strip...
Instead of sandblasting, you might want to consider getting the wheels soda blasted. Far less abrasive, better results, plus all you need to do to the wheels after the blasting is to hose them - the soda leaves them spotless enough that even the fussiest powder coater won't complain.
I got these guys to do my wheels before I had them powder coated.
North shore powdercoating gave some good prices on things and seemed to know what they were talking about,
I was asking about painting a gearbox and they have a paint that is more resistant to corrosive substances ie brake fluid
