    Hi Guys,

Has anyone purchased these? If so did you go offshore and ship or buy local?

I can get them from Tirerack for about $200AUD, but I'm guessing shipping will also be about $200.

Locally the distributor has quoted about $500 for them...

They're for my CC, but don't think the price changes much between VW models based on the research I've done..

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
I bought locally. I am using Eibach Pro springs and suspension.
Found these to be very high quality. Matt (Camden GTI) drove my car and said it handled and rode well.
The local distributor was helpful with a lot of technical knowledge. I use Eibach springs with Bilsteins on my other car.
    Hope this helps

i have a set of eibach custom pro kits. i use the term custom as derek from EA and rob van oz from eibach australia originally installed the eibach pro kit for the gti mk6 on dereks apr stg 2 gti, but derek found it to be too bouncy and the front was too low.
rob and derek then researched and tested a few of the eibach springs that were available for the vw range and they chose the optimal setup.
i have been running them now for a few weeks and i think its a great setup. lower than stock, has the same feel, not choppy or bouncy. it just feels like oem, except lower.
i didnt want anything super stiff

I ran Eibach Pro springs with stock Suspension (recently replaced with FK AK coilovers ) and ran them for about 60,000 kms with no problems what so ever. I only replaced them cos I wanted to go lower

Thanks all. I've left a message for Derek at EA. Will see what he says tomorrow.
